This service is available for persons aged 16 and over. For children aged under 16 please go to Sefton Minor Injuries department.
Patients Aged 75 Years & Over
If you are aged 75 years or over you should be seen by a member of the
Practice team; either a doctor or a Practice Nurse annually. This can be
done at the surgery if you are well enough to attend or if you are house
bound a home visit will be arranged.
Non NHS Examinations
Medical examinations for special purposes such as elderly drivers, pre-employment, HGV and PSV drivers, fitness to undertake sports and fitness to travel are not undertaken during surgery times. As this is a non NHS service a private appointment must be made, a fee will be payable.
Please contact the surgery if no communication is received from the hospital regarding a referral within a reasonable period of time.
